The Ironfest 2016 Ball
Over the past year Lithgow Workingmen’s Club – ‘The Workies’ – have invested in some major expansions and have asked Ironfest to help them show it off to the world! We now have the resources to give the costuming community something it has sadly lacked – a gala event that will sparkle with the best and brightest of what has made Ironfest the unique event that it is. The organising committee plan to make the first Ironfest Banquet and Ball – a buffet style feast followed by entertainment into the night – an event that will rival the Goblin Ball for pageantry, style and excitement!
Leave the crowds and trader’s stalls behind at the showground and come to the ball where you’ll have room to dance the night away! Show off your costumes, marvel at the splendour of Ironfest’s finest of all ages and genres: historical, cosplay and, yes, steampunk! No balancing paper plates on your knees here, this is a sit-down banquet that the Workies’ chef has specially prepared for the event. Be amazed and beguiled by wandering performers. Party into the night to the music of local legends, Sideshow Annie.
This is going to be an Ironfest to remember! For more information click here.
